Vision
We can see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.~Alan Turing
All people have characteristics that they feel describe them entirely. Generally found to be a very outgoing, loving to talk and to have some kind of communication with someone at all times. Everyone has things they feel resemble them, but some also have things that make someone know that, that is not the person they want to be. Some realize they need to change, but not change themselves physically, but mentally. Everyone even if they don’t know it they have some kind of vision just some have to go a little deeper to fully know theirs.
Vision is something that everyone should have, some people think of the way they should have been, instead of thinking of the way they can be now. This is one thing that shouldn’t be thought of in a negative way. Put the past behind, anyone can change their vision. Don’t think of what you could have done, think of what you can do. I think of vision as a way of knowing who you can be. Everyone wants something, but it’s the will of wanting to make that change into who you know you can be.
I know that I am how I am suppose to be but some of the things I have done, is not the kind of person I want to be. I want to be someone that be looked up to for the good things I have done, but not discriminated for the wrong. To be someone that will believe in more than just me and be more open minded toward the people I have known to trust, not be self-centered. To continue you to keep trying to become the person I know I can be. “The power of imagination created the illusion that my vision went much farther than the naked eye could actually see.”(Nelson Mandela) He followed his vision knowing that he knew what changes needed to be done mentally and physically, and he did the visions. Determination is a key, I believe, to conquering your vision and making it happen.
“First we make our habits, and then our habits make us.” (John Dryden) To make yourself the person you know you can be and want to be you have to change the habits that do not benefit you or make you think differently about yourself and others. Most habits become a person’s “addiction” in a positive and a negative ways. You have to change the ways you know are making you that person you don’t wanna be. “Bad” habits are found to be a person’s (physical and mental ) lack of self control. Some just don’t have the capability but they just have to work for it.
